Despite the fact that PokerStars players were busy leaving the Atlantis Casino & Resort in the Bahamas after watching Poorya Nazari win $3 million and the 2009 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure the Sunday Million was still the busiest tournament of the week with 8,268 players, many of whom were playing from the hotel lobby. The big winner was “livelikunger” who came out on top to win $187,520.57 but thanks to a two-way chop runner-up “dxu05″ took home $147,490.79.
The only Sunday Major with an overlay was Full Tilt Poker’s $750,000 Guaranteed which fell 14 players short to create a miniscule $2,800 overlay. Taking home the winner’s share was “45 ACP Fanatic” who banked $132,787.50 for outlasting 3,735 other players for the title.
