Team PokerStars member Greg “FossilMan” Raymer won the $300+$20 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha w/ Rebuys event at PokerStars.com’s 2007 World Championship of Online Poker early this morning, cashing in on the first place prize of $168,362.40 and a coveted WCOOP bracelet.
The 2004 WSOP Main Event Champion outlasted a field of 771 other players who, including rebuys and add-ons, generated a prize pool of $713,400. A deal was discussed once during the marathon 16-hour tournament, but the chip leader at the time - O. Mustang - deemed it “not fair” and Raymer eventually took down the first place prize outright.
